I attended an original and thought-provoking writing workshop today at Atwater library led by the prize-winning writer Chanel Sutherland. The focus was on writing multi-layered stories and Chanel shared some valuable insights on how to approach that. Not just a brilliant writer she's a lovely person too, and we had a great chat during the afternoon. It was her first time running this workshop and she has plans to turn it into a much longer course - I asked her to sign me up for that when it's available.
